Thought keep all rolling updates in one spot, with the statement that Virgin will convert all lounges to the new livery.

I have not flown and stepped inside a airport since December of 2019! I’m not sure what lounges are currently in the progress of conversion to the new livery.

Adelaide ✅

Is Melbourne in progress?

Something seems to be happening in Sydney. Downstairs is still closed and there are works going on.

Actually, scratch that. Was there today and the downstairs lounge has reopened in all its former glory

This calendar year is probably a good time to knock a whole heap of these over before the world returns to its former glory.

Heavy backlog around the whole country in regards to anything trade related so might be waiting a bit.

I'm going to be that person... I honestly hope they leave it alone until needed.

Those who expect a full meal in the domestic lounges are being unrealistic! It's not a restaurant.

I was in the Brisbane Virgin lounge about a month ago and they had snacks (chips etc) and good local beer (green beacon tropical pale ale) which is really all I value. The lounge was quiet but sadly most the terminal is also, so the food/drinks are the real selling point but even pre covid I'd say I prefer the simple offerings (I never really went for the lunch/dinner mains).

I went through Sydney on Friday. Downstairs is open again. I didn't notice any real changes.

Melbourne we are still using The Club as of last week and the main lounge is still closed... For upgrades perhaps?
