Credit Card Offers Virgin Money Velocity Flyer: Up to 60,000 bonus Velocity Points

Are Virgin Money open to reassessments much? My partner was rejected from her first CC, Standard Virgin Flyer card 6k limit. She does share a decent sized mortgage with her brother but there's no issue paying it, even if it brings in less than the payments. I don't want to push the idea if it's probably not going to happen though, took some effort to build her up to applying as is...
I'm not sure any CC companies do reassessments on applications. I've never heard of that.

May have to just apply for another card soon.

Yep they do. I had them oddly reject me earlier in the year. Sent them an email and asked for a reassessment. Outlined income very clearly in dot form and it was subsequently approved.

Anyone else have issues with the monthly points sweep lately? Statement issued Sunday with points earn summary as expected however still no points in the velocity account. Rang yesterday and confirmed all details correct. Supposedly a known issue that has affected many people and being worked on.

EDIT: issue has resolved.
