I realised that I got this email from Virgin FF on 13th December (heading was "it's time to celebrate those YAY feelings from 2023") and I searched for a thread to no avail.

Here's mine, but I know there re plenty who fly with VA much more than me (although it is my airline of choice, having only 4 QF sectors in the same timespan). Frankly, I'm surprised I'm top 1% - by what measure (revenue, mileage, number of flights?):

I was also a bit surprised to find myself in the top 1%:

35 flights, 18 060 km, 70 hours

It’s worth noting that your year in review tracks your flights up until 30 November. Your December flights won’t be included in the figures.

Wow, VA is your third home (behind office and your real abode). That's some serious flying @Harrison_133 🙇‍♂️

Crunched some of the data from the numbers supplied here. Surprised that my average kms/flight is 1,542. I suppose that makes sense as my popular destinations were MEL and ADL this year (both with 8 flights).

@Harrison_133 do you do a lot of SYD/MEL and vv? Your average is 764kms/flight

Given the current OTP for VA, you have my sympathy.
To be honest, I’ve had a run of good luck this year with OTP for my flights. The bulk of them have been on time, and I’ve managed to dodge significant delays.

Given how poor VA’s OTP has been over the last few months, I’m surprised I haven’t been impacted more.

Hopefully I don’t jinx myself now…

Hmmm… no further breakdown of the ‘top 1%’.

I’m 72 flights, 50k and 144hrs in the air. Top 1%.

Should also add around 36 hours of delay, and 25 flights with either no IFE or wifi. :(

With 6 flights in December that saw me with my half century obtained for the year.

Mine was up to 27 November. Which meant my SYD-PER flight on 27/11 and PER-SYD flight on 29/11 didn't count.

19 flights, 15 016 km, 39 hours flying, top 5%.

Here's mine, not sure what it's based off to get the 5%? Also assuming VA metal only as my SQ/EY Europe trip isn't in the figures.

My wife flew 9 times, 9,652km, 23 hours: Top 10%
So the percentage is presumably not based on distance, I flew 'an impressive' 9,565 kms but received no percentage as it was only 4 flights - 16 hours in the sky.
