Virgin's A320 Hellship, Adelaide-Perth

Playing devil's advocate for a moment, doesn't QantasLink also run A320 flights out of WA on ex-Jetstar aircraft with the same JQ seating layout and no J?

At least those planes aren't used on PER-ADL flights, but they do appear on PER-DRW.

Many Intra-WA RPT routes and PER-DRW are regularly operates by Network (QantasLink) A320s.

Though, yes fortunately QFLink/Network doesn't send the A320s on PER-ADL

Oh no, I've booked HBA-PER on a VA 320 - must be the same plane. QF charges almost double via MEL. I'm assuming no IFE or Wifi?

Also booked PER-LST on a VA 737-700. Same deal as the 320?
VA A320's have entertainment wifi.

The all economy -700's currently don't have entertainment wifi as they are still trying to get what's fitted to the aircraft compatible with their system.

I flew one a few months back and it had IFE. It was a toned down version though.

I've been on 700s with an entertainment system on. Content wasn't inspiring, but it was working.

It's an interesting one
HBA-PER seems to be consistently A320
LST-PER seems to be 50/50 with either the all economy 737-700, or with a regular 737-800 with business

Only way for a bit of space comfort, if you don't fly this route every time, or all the time, is to phone up each time and make a "comfort seat request booking".
They will ask if its for a musical instrument, just say no.
If the plane is not too full, you can still have bit of lux.

I thought it wouldn't be that bad, surely..

..I thought wrong. Can't remember the TT pitch being this bad (oh dearly loved TT), but it's criminal for VA to be using these birds anywhere outside FIFO work.

Very thankful to have a row to myself.
Omg. How is that legal?

How could that even be used for FIFO - most aren’t little blokes.

Its bad mate, very very bad.
I got that 320 ADL - PER, and then F100 PER - ADL.
It was already VA when I made the booking, but when I booked, it was a 737-800, even paid for econX, then it got changed to a 320, they refunded me the econX extra I paid, coo, now they have the 737-700 too, with no J.
No reason to fly VA on that route anymore.

Keep in mind, the 737-700s are going to be fitted with J as part of the refurb for the rest of the 737-800s
