I wonder who's going to be on the list ?

Its a bit frustrating that various & sundry corp travel decision-makers will no doubt get a gong. OK, they're sitting on million $ decisions about airline travel, but most of that travel will be nickel & dime economy for which they and their bosses are rewarded.

Meantime there are private citizens frequently spending their own dough, nearly always flying VA up the front who wont get looked at...

But that's the whole point. Airlines use this ultra tier to persuade corporate decision makers to move their millions to their airline rather than the rival. They have already captured the private citizen's personal spend using their regular top tier. Plus they will want A list celebs who will make the airline look prestigious.

Silly me, imagine expecting to be rewarded for extended, premium expenditure

I know what your saying but I don’t think it will be like that and as someone who will finish this year on just over 2800SC’s I’d like think there is some higher benefits but I’m not expecting anything

Well I think you (and other high-level, rusted-on premium regulars) should expect something. To me thats the point of a special category - directly and personally, rather than vicariously, earned..
