Volunteering in Ghana: Do you have unwanted/unnecessary QANTAS FFs?

Brooke.

I'm really good at spotting frauds, fraudsters and their ilk. It's a hobby (and ties into my real life job). Nothing you've posted here (and at various other places) looks suss to me and doesn't ring any bells - although, I really am not sure that the information you got from Qantas is correct. As has been mentioned many times - donations of points to non-family members is normally against the T&Cs of the Qantas FF scheme.

I've thrown a few $ your way through your UFS donate page, normally I don't respond to requests like this, but must be in a good mood tonight.

Take care.

Soliciting for personal gain is certainly against the forum rules. While the intent of the OP (as stated) may be interpreted as being charity, asking for FF points is not permitted.

Transfer of QFF points to people who are not eligible family members is not permitted under the terms and conditions of Qantas Frequent Flyer program. However That is between the OP and QFF and of no consequence to AFF. But I invite Redroo to comment via PM to any of the Moderation team and we will append to his thread.

I received a PM from Red Roo as follows:

Hi All,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to this post. I have send a PM as the thread has been closed down but wanted to close the loop on the discussion.

Points transfers are only able to be preformed once a year to an eligible family member as outlined in the Qantas Frequent Flyer Terms and Conditions http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/...m/terms#jump10. On this basis, the request from BrookeSachs would not be permitted.

Thanks to those members who raised this. If you have any questions please PM me.

Cheers,
Red Roo
