Want to make sure my Singapore Airlines ticket goes to Velocity

Hi all

Sorry if this is a silly question or asked before.

I booked a Singapore Airlines ticket with my KF number. It is still showing up under my KF account despite me changing the FF to Velocity with my number.

Will I still earn Velocity points?

Go to the counter at check-in and ask them to make sure your VFF number is on the ticket, then check your boarding pass

And RETAIN that boarding pass until miles post.

Last year I booked using my KF number but on check-in they put my VFF number on the booking so I could get into the lounge (was Gold). The nice surprise was that I earned VFF points for the return trip but also got credited KF points for the outward flights.
