Wasting SC going from gold to platinum

I do not know if the system has been set to automatically upgrade when within 10sc of platinum or if it is manually done but would check your account the day after the points post.

I just got upgraded while 13 SCs short but with all 8 legs which is grea because the 14 SCs and, more importantly, the 1 leg of our return flight will count to renewal.

as a side note my daughter just went from silver to Gold with 6 points short as well. She is ecstatic. One way of encouraging loyalty.
