We got a couple of milkshakes being thrown around here. Begs to think that perhaps airlines and/or airline lounges should stock some ice cream and a mixer behind the bar... though I suppose that might be too "premium" to be allowed to be ordered free-reign (especially on board, where having ice cream at all is one of those rare-ish treats).
Or, at least flavoured milk...
FWIW I don't mind a nice malted vanilla milkshake, or a banana one (esp. with fresh banana rather than banana flavouring).
Rather surprised no one has piped up with "tomato juice" or "spicy tomato juice". It's not my cup of tea, but it seems to be an old time favourite for many. In fact, I remember that BA were (maybe they have now successfully) trying to sneakily get rid of tomato juice on Euro flight carts (to save weight and costs of course), which came very much to the chagrin of several members on the FT BAEC board...
