2 Fridays ago, JQ127 to Bali was on the runway ready for take off but had to abort and return to the gate to offload a family of 4 as one of them had a panic attack from fear of flying or claustrophobia (didn't get the real story). The plane had to refuel and find their luggages causing a full hour delay in an already cramped environment. It's a wonder that no other pax sufferred claustrophobic episodes while waiting at the gate.

Would much rather not being at 37 thousand feet with a drunk person running riot on the plane...

Been there done that. Stopped off in CNS to offload on a BKK-SYD flight. Penalties are not harsh enough when the case finally gets to court as they manage to weasel their way out of it.
