Weirdest item you've seen taken as carry-on?

Love the expression! 😁
To think of it, sometimes I need to be this at work when stakeholders are behaving badly. Not in a legal sense but reading the policy back to them.
Anything on there that prohibits people bringing a bag of 54 capsule dishwashing pods on board? 🤣 🤣

A friend of mine, occasional lawyer and full time pedant,

I'm not a lawyer, but I do like things to be clear and unambiguous, less conjecture, guesses and more fact. Spelling and grammar are important.

Many years ago I had a youngish supervisor appointed over the top of me who was always off at a tangent and making random pronouncements. His emails and report writing 🙄

In a meeting where I yet again pointed out a statement he made wasn't quite correct he lashed back with "you are the most pedantic Pr... I have ever met".

I was not offended 🤣

Back in time, we did peer reviews of project business cases and I gained a nickname "Mr Red Pen" because I always had a plethora of questions and suggestions for clarifications. I carry that name with pride.

I've also been called a stickler by someone much more senior. Exactly, sir, I'm here to help...

When I used to go to Darwin for work I had to pick up a couple of foam boxes of Barramundi for my boss

I presume as an export and not an import - it is important to keep the boss well-fed. - Back when the world had a sense of humour, I used to take Legs of Pork to Manado to feed hungry mine management—the good folk at SQ used to fill my esky with dry ice, which did the trick.

SYD Domestic airport wont let me carry that on apparently (forgot if it was OMO or dishwashing pods). I had to go back to the counter and check that in as luggage. A first in my books🧐🧐
OK so just now had two bags of laundry pods (RRP $28 each) taken away by the SYD airport staff and the first time I entered they let them in without questions since I figured the last time was a one-off and the person was having a bad day. The terms said that liquid and is allowed so don't know why they would do that😡 bought it on special at the Woolworths Mascot since I don't live near a Woolworths. The SYD airport complaints department would be hearing about it and I am sure ABC news would to 🤣 🤣
