Yssy board contains a post with some predicted details on the livery from a first hand observor.

I won't post a link in case people want to keep the surprise, but it's a pretty easy Google

Nice. I like.

Which is looking bleak now due to the fact I'm on the earliest flight from OOL, earlier flights from BNE are sold out in my cabin and coming the day before from OOL is also sold out. Plus then I have to factor in accommodation.

I am weighing my options.

Have you managed to sort anything out ?
Sorry I can't be of much help as I'll be leaving from home at 0530 or so to get there.

I think I will take the train to Mascot station (from St Leonards station) and walk...don't have to worry about parking and negotiating peak hour Sydney morning traffic:shock:

Maybe Buzz can use your spot of you can't make it?

Given its a competition run by Red Roo I'd reckon they are the ones to offer any freed up spots to other entrants in the competition.

At this stage, still attending.

Also on my flight is someone who is commonly called Mr Qantas in the FF circles, so we'll be doing everything we can to get to the event, and plans haven't changed, but it'll just be tight.

Please explain? :p

Just a really big fan, known as TravelingSmithy on AFF, but not terribly active here.

Much more active on Facebook.
For those of you who haven't met him and are not going to RetroRoo II he is coming along to the LRE meet in April.

Princess Fiona, what is your take on the Footwear requirement? I interpret it as no heels and no sandals, so normal flats ok or would (gulp) laced up shoes be needed?

I don't really own any flat shoes. I have a pair that I've worn to a couple of Hangar events and they've been ok. They are court shoes with a small wedge heel.
I don't think you need lace-ups. Have seen plenty of females in a variety of enclosed shoes as long as they don't have point heels.

YSSY reports a Monday morning ferry flight from TSV-SYD - presumably to avoid the press getting an early shot into the papers

Just about to blast off. Hope the weather is not too bad this afternoon. Going to the Qantas instameet today, and walking from Bondi to Bronte. Followed by a concert tonight. Looking forward to Retro Roo II tomorrow

Nice. For return leg. The upgrade occurred within a minute of me checking in at the airport.

So presume this means I can use Business QP for flight home?
