Saw both of these in NYC. My fav was Beautiful. I really enjoyed seeing how the Carole King songs (and Geffen), reflected what was happening in their real life. And some amusing parts too. Interested to hear your verdict.

Beautiful tonight mate.

Well CE that will be your two shows done and dusted. Now for CEtte's picks after tonight.

Very disappointed I left booking for London beautiful too late, only tickets available night of arrival. My daughter said "are you kidding Mum, with your jet lag, no way". We only have time for one theatre outing. Booked Matilda! Daughter wanted to see it, me not so much. I booked tickets, daughter says to me "How much Mum, there were £20 tickets". I'm not telling her the price, said it was my treat. We have totally different ideas of what one is prepared to pay. :)

Cruiser, have you seen 'Beautiful' yet?
Yes we did gmoh - it was ........... well ........... beautiful! Seriously it was really excellent - you will love it.

We saw it last night - interesting there was an abundance of empty seats - Kinky Boots night before not a spare seat in house - go figure.

We really enjoyed Curious Incident show which is not a musical and you may feel challenged by Aspergers topic but the best play for us in the last 12 months.
The "Go Between" with Michael Crawford has good reviews and is offered on London Theatre Direct today in our emails.

I saw it.

It's a minimalist production. Simple staging and only a piano for the music. It's quite nice and the cast do a very nice job. It's quite sad.
