Not only did you not get the $10 (or $7.05) but did you have to pay the $2.95 fee on all of them that would add up to actually paying more than the cards are worth??

I bought some cards yesterday - same card, separate transaction for each card - will report once it shows up in the account.

You may be right - could be $10 per AMEX card ONLY.

My read is $10 per GIFT card.

Sadly, you're right: $10 per registered AMEX card, not per Westfield gift card !

Bought a $50 gift card the other day and received the email almost immediately from Amex.

Went to buy some mocassins and to my surprise I could not find normal mocassins. All that was available was the clown mocassins where the toes only go in halfway.

No I was actually serious. Went to buy a pair of mocassins. Walked away empty handed with a $50 gift voucher in my wallet.
