Although we arrived here before 8am there was an upgraded room available.As reported on FT not a suite but a Deluxe corner room-601.this was really very comfortable and as large as many junior suites.It came equipped with a coffee machine of the of the pod type that took me a while to work-when it did it was far too strong for me.The room was very comfortable-
However as I am finding out Westin's are good with the upgrades but with the exception of Madrid there is nothing much else.Still cant complain as the initial rate was over E200 but with the March sale I locked in a rate~E130.Certainly when we go back the Westin is on the list to stay again.
The other benefit is that it is right on the edge of the main shopping district and a short stroll from the old town and river.
