Always try and spend with your card on things you need, and not just anything otherwise I feel you trap yourself into wasting a lot of money.

Perhaps look at health, car or home insurance and if they are coming up anytime soon and pay them in advance for the year.
Or utility bills.

I picked up the card yesterday. The banker was sketchy on the 100k points and said a lot of fake websites are around making you sign up to scam all your details. I said we got the 100k through the Qantas website and he seemed to think that was 'legit'.

He also had no idea about the Uber promotion that was linked a few comments back. So I've emailed uber to ask what the deal is.

Anyone know how long it takes for the bonus points to post? I hit the cap last cycle and thought they would come through this time but they didnt.

Cancelled my card last week after 11 months. Retentions team didn't even ask a single question which made it pretty easy for me.
