Yesterday was my review date and have only earnt 340 SC's for the past year. No forward bookings at this stage.

I have been Gold or Platinum continuosly for the last 8 years.

What are my chances of staying Gold or am I destined for Silver. Has anyone else recently been in the same situation.

Earlier this year I was on 390 SCs, halfway through a VA-ticketed trip to Europe, and a flight I'd already taken worth 60 SCs was yet to credit.

They still bumped me back to Silver (and back to Gold a day later when the flight credited).

No Harm in calling up and asking as your history will be in your favor. It won’t happen automatically

I would call and see what the system says.

On the surface of 8 straight years of status, I would expect you to retain it.
Every propensity model in the frequent flyer space I've seen shows pax are much more likely to continue engaging with the program when they have status.

Going back a couple of years ago, I called up about a month out from my review date and about 60sc short of retaining WP. Was told, "if they do that for me, then they'd have to do it for everyone, and no it wouldn't happen. Ended up retaining with some last minute work trips anyway.
