WCMO...
- Opting to take the tunnel to save time and then running into traffic inside the tunnel. Waste of money for nearly no time gain.
- Tunnel control reducing the speed limit from 80 km/h to 40 km/h on a stretch which is completely devoid of any obstacles and the exits are clearly free flowing traffic. I can understand if there is an accident in the tunnel or the exits are starting to back up, but not otherwise. They also don't modify the speed limit signs appropriately after the "slow zone" has been passed.
- BS roadwork lane management that goes from 2 lanes to one lane then back to 2 then back to one... you get the <expletive> idea.
- Taking a bit over 3 hours to drive from northside Brisbane to around Southport on the Gold Coast... and no, there was no traffic between north Brisbane and the CBD. And the likely reason for the extreme delay sounded like absolute BS... it was one of those trips where Google Maps said a certain time and kept updating itself by not decreasing the estimated time remaining for a while (and the text was in dark red).
- Why on certain sections of the highway when the speed limit is reduced to 80 km/h for whatever reason (legit or BS), and I get regularly passed by tons of vehicles while I'm observing the posted speed limit like an idiot. Honestly, I wonder if the police ever think that they should post a speed camera there and make a killing.
