Plenty of googs here in rural Tas at IGA (locally commercially supplied). Also Coles closer to Hobart when I was there last week.
 
I only ever buy eggs from my local fruit and veg and there has never been a shortage

if i haven't heard of the burb it means it isn't anywhere near me, so useless information to me and not worthy of time to google. I buy my groceries within walking distance from my home or office.

It's annoying no eggs available locally but not enough to spend a lot of time and money travelling far away to get some.
 
Many stores in Melbourne don't have eggs.
I wonder if the Avian flu is more serious than is being reported?
Was a big issue when we were in California over Christmas, had signs up on the shelves as well informing as to why.

Hasn't been any supply issues in the UK that I've noticed for the 2 weeks I've been here.
 
In 'the old days' when you purchased a new appliance for cooking there would be a nice thick recipe guide. Now? A two page instruction written in tiny size font in multiple languages. Meaningless. Yes I know we can get instructions on the internet but gosh we've reduced consumer satisfaction.

But no one except teachers and librarians ever read the instructions or recipes!

The Smeg induction oven came with a complimentary cooking class. And a book menu

The TMix has a pared down recipe book in the electronic menu but if you want the full recipes pay someone called Cookidoo and keep paying.....

I have all Miele
Twice a year I goto the ‘Experience Centre’ for a class/lovely lunch and seasonal cookbook provided. Ought to be for the eyewatering outlay!
