What date in 2017 [now 2018] will the last E190 VA flight be?

I'd love to have the chance to fly them once last time! Any idea if VA will bother with any fanfare for the final?

Missed out on two E190 flights this year due to cancellation/rescheduling... I've probably already flown my last one! :(

Being a not so good decision I'm not sure there will be much fanfare. The fanfare happens when an airline buys the right plane and runs it for 20 years and retires it gracefully.

I was wrong - VH-ZPH is still operating today but only 2 flights BNE-NTL and NTL-BNE...

Agreed - now many of the ADL <-> PER are Fokker :(
OT/TJ... now we have the F100 doing VAd ADL - PER.
I used to love the A side on the E190, only 2 seats so not a feeling of being a sardine in a tin can but the E190 tin can was a bit longer, more rows, so a bit better than the F100 which has fewer rows, and a smaller aircraft overall.
Edit: just noticed also the E100 does not have a J (service), so really egalitarian, where as the E190 at the least has a J (service).

The VA accountants, engineers and shareholders will be cheering that the E190 has been deleted from the fleet.

Passengers won’t be cheering though from most opinions on here rating them highly for comfort (though unreliable) and means VA have much less flexibility to tackle thin and narrow routes compared to QF.

No VA flights till end of Sept this year, ADL - BNE, so most likely that final E190 would have gone.
Who knows, I might find myself flying this ADL - BNE flight on the F100!

The last of the pilots are being taken off it by the end of the month and are getting retrained on the B737.

I was unaware that VA were still receiving brand new 73H...

Wonder what the chances of the 738Max being further delayed from 'the second half of 2019'?
