What flight has the most codeshares?

LATAM is now codesharing on QF's MEL-SIN flight as well. This service must surely have the record for the most flight numbers?!

According to Changi's website 12 codeshares on QF35 although this is currently beaten by Bangkok Airways and their 13 on the Koh Samui flight:

Just wondering… do other codeshare airlines pay some money to the airlines that fly from A to B? Even if they don’t have any pax to fly on this airline?

It depends on the nature of the codeshare agreement.

With most codeshare agreements, like the ones that would be in place on the MEL-SIN route, the marketing airline basically just takes a commission on each sale (e.g. could be in the vicinity of 5-10%) and the rest of the money from each sale goes to the operating airline. If no seats are sold on a particular codeshare flight number, no money would change hands for that flight.

With a "hard block" codeshare (e.g. Qantas/LATAM on the SYD-SCL route) each airline effectively has a percentage of seats to sell on each flight and takes on board both the commercial reward of selling all the seats at high fares, as well as the commercial risk of not selling the seats.
