Hi All,
I have an upcoming SC run trip booked a while ago for a bargain price. It’s PER-SYD-ABX-SYD-PER. It turns out that , now I only need to fly 2 sectors to retain Gold. Changing the ticket is out of question. If I fly to Sydney and intentionally miss my flight to ABX, but then fly back to Perth as scheduled, will it still count as flying 2 sectors? If possible i’d like to avoid the long layover in lounge-less ABX.
Please advise ;)

cheers!

More than likely if you miss a leg it will void the remainder of the trip including your return to Perth. Others may know for sure but I wouldn’t advise doing it

Wow! I didnt think of that possibility. That’ll be a disaster 😅 thanks for the info Jase05!

What fare bucket are the tickets? Could you change it so the stopovers are more preferential time wise? Or even remove those flights? Can't hurt to ask.

Hi excelladict,
I bought it when it was on sale/Getaway fare. The fees for Changing anything , if thats even possible, will not be worth it. 😫

$90 I think is the change fee. You should be able to go into MMB and see if it’s possible. Otherwise the cafe/restaurant isn’t too bad there, take a book or laptop and whittle away the hours
