On certain Virgin Australia flights, like MEL-LST-MEL, they do not sell Business class fares, with the Flexi fare being the most expensive. I was wondering what happens to the business class seats during these flights? Are they used?

Thanks. But the flight I have booked for LST-MEL in mid Feb, is scheduled to be a B738 and no business fare is offered when booked. I would imagine they would offer these seats to Gold or Platinum frequent flyers.

Thats really wierd! If you want to PM me the date or flight number in mid-Feb I will have a look and see if I see the same thing....

Doubt they would use j seats for elites...
