What happens when airlines charge for checked bags

... we all know it. Too much carry on, forced checking of carry-on .. and .. lost carry on.

Air Canada is but one example.

Experienced it on a AA flight Ottawa to Washington..... image 30 pax waiting in a air bridge to pickup the bags it was like seagulls fighting over chips.
