Elsewhere over the years been through & over various parts of the Andes from Ecuador to Chile and various parts of the Rockies, over South Alps of NZ. As well as places/ranges like Lesotho, Drakensberg, Sierra Madre, Appalachian, Meteora, Dinaric range, Huang Lien Son, Pennines, Yushan, Mantiqueira, Taurus, among others. They all had their own charm for different reasons.
Sadly due to a propensity for altitude sickness that manifested seriously at lake Titicaca the GP has recommended against travel to the Himalayas and try and keep my travels below 3.5-4k altitude (unless in a plane
