Base points. It makes HH my programme of choice, as SPG don't allow status via spend.

Should requal diamond within the first stay next year in Jan, all being well. Ski trips cost too much.

I had hoped to sneak in Gold renewal via nights, but will miss out on that by the slimmest margin so I'll have to do some upgrades in Decembers stays to hit base points requal.

I have 28 stays, 67 nights and 195,000 base points. So I guess I made it via all three.

I wonder if I was to earn an extra 5000 base point would they extend my diamond membership till 2015?

base points and/ or nights have got me over the line in the past - not sure what'll happen this time; abit short on both

Matched Diamond via DJ. Will make Gold for next year on stays, falling a little shy on both nights and base points. Some different decision making earlier in the year (not that I regret the decisions made - there was a reason for them) would have had me in striking distance of diamond such that I would probably 'do it'. Being totally self-funded (and for leisure only), stays seems the easiest to me in an 'average' travel year. Diamond may be possible in a 'heavy' travel year.
