What kind of flight booking is this (via Amex Platinum Travel)

This is the first time I booked over the phone for a while via Amex Travel because i am doing for a few travellers all on J. The booking was successful however I noticed on my amex card it is showing multiple payment (one for each person travelling even through it is on the same iternary) by the airline, and not Amex Travel as it previous did.

My question is, does this look about right? In the past it always showed as Amex Travel on my cc statement and I was not expecting the airline to show up as the debiting merchant. What implication (if any) does this mean for me? Do I need to call Amex or the airline if there is any issue with the flight?

Yes, you will probably need to go through Amex, as your Travel Agent, if there are any issues, rather than QF, at least until the booking comes under airport control.

Is this any different to bookings made on online booking site like booking.com? I mean from a flight delay / rebooking point of view.

In that you need to rely on the Travel Agent (rather than the airline) to notify you of delays/ changes you mean?
