Wondered if this is a wind-up, found on FT someone complaining to Hilton Corp regarding the bathroom amenities or lack there-of at Conrad BKK

Apparently they do for Conrad hotels, guests can choose the range of bathroom products from Aromatherapy Associates, Shanghai Tan, Tara Smith Vegan products.

I did not read beyond the first few posts. While it would make squat difference for me, and I would not be bothered to complain about it, even if it did, the OP has a point in that they apparently advertise something then don't provide it. A bit like PB on Qantas. Compensation though? Ptooey!!

What BS..I've seen the same factory sources that produce these generic products, budget/branded labels & otherwise. :shock: My additional comments were personally removed not to incite any values of religious tension, racism, prejudice, stupidness or otherwise... :-|

I saw the word shampoo, and just knew I had to comment for my 500th post.

I love Aromatherapy Associates products...but there is a huge difference between the ones made from the UK and the ones used in hotels in Asia. It's like they're watered down and go off quite quickly.

And i think Shanghai Tang make ugly clothes. Saw a documentary about it once.

I read a few of the posts on that thread. I cannot believe someone would make such a fuss about the soap/shampoo in the room regardless of what is written on the website.
