It's Sunday..slow news day...and just more 'quality' journalism from Australia's 'finest' ...the junior casuals must be working in the office today  ..They must have all read the same 'blog'/tweet or whatever they use to get all this 'accurate' information

I'm surprised they didn't use a Jetstar A320 picture for that article, they (any news site/paper) can never get anything right.

They still had time to correct .... even todays Telegraph print version mentions a A380

Tis of no surprise, news limited are not exactly knowing for caring about small details when it comes to aviation reporting. Then again why would they care? Qantas is hardly going to sue them because they said it was an A380 instead of an A330, and it's highly unlikely the average Telegraph reader can tell (or even cares about) the difference between the two.

"Engineers are inspecting the aircraft. There is no evidence at this stage of a problem," he said.

Of course not, they were looking at the wrong aircraft!

Mind you, many lay persons would not know the difference.
Many years ago I was watching a movie with my then girlfriend and there was some helicopter scene where a Bell Jetranger suddenly changed into a Bell 412 in the next shot. She didn't see any difference.
