What time of day does SQ release the bulk of their available rewards?

It looks like Singapore initially releases around four award flights each day at 1000 GMT. It's only later that another larger amount of awards are released. For example three flights were released this morning for SYD-LHR, and this was the case yesterday. But somewhere up to 24 hours later, another 16+ saver/advantage flights are released. Is there a set time for this, or should just keep refreshing every hour.

As far as I know, Singapore routinely begins to release new award space 355 days before the flight at midnight GMT or midnight in the time zone of the departure city (whichever ls later). The screenshot below is helpful (it's from this post on mainlymiles.com):

But Singapore does also release reward seats at random other times: you're right that it's not as if they release one batch of reward seats at T-355days and then never again.

They definitely seem to release a handful each day and then within a day, the rest of the flights (ie with the long layover options) are released. It could be random, but I’ve noticed a pattern over the past week.

From my experience any connecting flights which depart on day 356 aren't available until they become day 355 flights.

So if the new batch of flights are all ones with a longer layover you might find that these are just connections which aren't bookable until the onward leg is also bookable - which would be +24 hours from when the first flight becomes available.

In saying that I have seen more Saver fares become available about 3 - 4 days after the initial release.

Yes that makes a lot of sense. I hadn’t thought of connecting flights. Thanks I’ll check in the morning.

What's the go with Paris CDG to Sydney? Trying to book 355 days out, and completely nothing is showing for 354 and 353 days out in Business (using points)...we booked our way there, and now trying to get back!

Looks like 3rd, 4th, 5th Oct out of CDG is already booked (or no seats were released). 6th has seats out of CDG but flights to SYD for the 7th not released yet. Maybe see if you can depart on the 6th once the onward leg to SYD is released 🤞

Yeah thanks! It's weird, I've been monitoring it for 2 weeks, and I have always seen them release seats and not hold them like they are now. I wonder if F1 @ Singapore has anything to do with it.

Potentially, I know Scoot blocked out booking flights for those dates at one stage could be something similar. Look like 6th now available! The other dates are now showing Advantage reward but when I was on my phone before nothing was coming up at all - bit odd.

We are booking from Europe as well, and the dates to and from have been booked out, releasing as waitlisted immediately or blanked out with a - . I am hoping it's due to Milan fashion week, school holidays in Australia and the F1 as our return flights need to be booked in a week or so...

We booked our Europe flights for next year (2 x J) 3 and 7 weeks ago, and the daily releases were definitely lumpier than previous years!
We got the dates we needed in the end, but reversed our itinerary as I wasn't sure we'd find flights out of IST (into IST was fine)

Just booked our return flights from FRANKFURT to SYD.
Managed to get 2xsuites and 2xJ
Thanks to I LOVETO TRAVEL above, we never even though of catching the train from Paris to FRA to fly out.
From what I could see, everyday at 11am EST time, the seats are released, some go quick, but usually there is avail for a few hours from paris and london to sydney.

Well done

I hope they keep the A380 on the FRA route for you!

But yes it's so easy to get around EU on a train.

We generally fly out of FRA as the taxes/costs for LHR are a joke

Uh oh, do they often change planes? I've never had the suites experience - but looking so forward to it!

Often no, but it does happen to the FRA route :(
