What to do with hotel toiletries/amenities kits (and even excess Qantas PJs!)

If anyone is looking to buy Payot products (the brand offered in QF First amenity kits and lounges), this Aussie website is offering 15% Off during their Australia Day Sale Alpha H skincare | PAYOT | Napoleon Perdis | CLARINS | ASAP skin care | buy Dermalogica online - Australia Day Sale

thanks for the link! I have been looking for these but have been holding off wanting to buy in the USA when i am there in a couple month's time. I suspect it might be even cheaper over there... (although it's a little hard to find)

thankfully I have a good stockpile of the minis from QF. And now i know the regenerating care gel 'regenerates and restructures support fibres'!! (I didn't even know I had support fibres!!)

I use mine in gift bags and giveaways for clients and fundraising activities

How long would it take the cleaning staff to make sure that everything was present and in the right place? Sheesh!

Do you think I should mess around a bit while we're there? Actually I think they'll need full replacements for each night we are there. But I'll leave the toilet paper. We're also having afternoon tea at the Burj so I'll need to smell nice. :)

We are staying at Jumeirah beach resort in Dubai in July and found a photo on the Internet of the bathroom amenities. I think I'm going to have to throw away my clothes to fit them all in.

Don't forget the little rubber duck. I brought mine home for my gf and called him "Dubai ducky".

I can't believe people accumulate all this cough (well, actually, I can).

I would normally push the entire lot aside and open the toiletries bag. I rarely, if ever, use hotel products, as I prefer my own brands, and I'm self sufficient. And my house already more than enough accumulated cough.

That's good for you. Did you read that many people give them to charities? I guess one persons cough is someone else's treasure.

Re taking the bog role - I always took the spare bog role when I was flying into ASP and going bush the next day - nothing worse that not having anything to wipe with!!

One big problem I have, is that I'm a hoarder. You know, "that will come in handy, even if I never use it".

Had a drawer half full of old glasses. My wife found a charity that sends them overseas so we sent them off. Recycling rules.

Now, all I need is a charity that takes women's shoes....

Hi,what's that charity?

The local flood relief team in he Redlands are calling for shampoo and the like. So any Brisbane based persons with hotel shampoo collections are invited to pass them on

I know Mrs GPH is staying home this morning to sort them out. An most likely visit the supermarket to buy other stuff as well for donation. Baby stuff is needed I believe

..am I the only one who takes the spare bog roll home?

That's a ****ty thing to do :) ...and yes probably you are the only one who would admit to this!
