Hi All,

Booked a flight with Singapore Airline / Silk Air and tried to rebook to take me to a different destination, instead of CEB-SIN SIN-PER, CEB-SIN SIN-DRW. Was assured that the flight had been rebooked, no prob turn up to CEB to find that my flight had not been rebooked and there was a variety of different rebooking fees ranging from SG$460-680. Didn't take the flight and made a complaint. The agreed response was that the return leg of that booking be left open (Valid until Feb 2016). Have since rebooked a flight with Singapore Airline / Silk Air and had the Booking Reference changed upon selections of seats. Customer service say that the original booking reference is the one to believe.

Have not any problem with Singapore Airlines in the past and am wondering if this isn't a problem with a new software update?

Seems incredible that simply selecting seats can generate a different booking number!

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure exactly what your question is. Did you make the change to the booking?

I also don't understand why the reference number would change after selecting seats.
