A TA is a bit like a dentist, you have to find one that you're comfortable with and one who'll do their work with the least amount of pain for you.
Regardless of the alleged inaccuracies in the article, IMO, there's good and bad in every profession.
Unfortunately I've come across a couple of TAs who either didn't know what they were on about or who just plain out and out lied...so I said thanks for the info, and never darkened their doorstep again.
