$18 for a pint of Carlton Draught in Perth?

Do you mind me asking where you paid that much?

After driving for 6 hours with a mate, we arrived in Paris, went to a bar and as he was thirsty ordered the 'biggest' beer you have. I forget what it was in euros, but I paid and it was the equivalent to about AUD$28 for a pint of beer.

I quickly learnt to go to supermarkets in Paris and buy beer with my schoolboy French. If I recall correctly beer wasn't too expensive in Cafe Oz - hey, it was the only place showing the cricket.
