What would you like in the new Qantas safety video?

I really like that video - it's good one. It has a good flow, makes sense, simple and clear. Forget about "famous quote".

- They should make a reality one...for example, pax should be shocked and frightened (like jump up and down) when the oxygen mask falling down. That's how it works in real life.
- Make sure that interior cabin match to that type of aircraft. I have seen some safety video making mistake - for example the aircraft is 737-800 but interior cabin looks like it's belong to the Airbus 380.

This Philippines Airlines video reminds me of those old school instruction videos that had the narrator "talking" to the actor. (For those who are familiar with the show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the game which parodied these kinds of videos was "Hey You Down There").

Well I volunteer myself and little miss nlagalle for the oxygen mask segment!

My Little Miss fastidiously studies the safety card on every flight. She'd be a worthy video actor (noting my own bias).

Deity above only knows if she'd shut up long enough to be filmed putting on an oxygen mask!

Actually I like that one, it grabs my attention. It's clever, and it makes you pay attention.

Not saying QF should copy that, but it's intuitive, clever, well put together and entertaining.
