What's on your Bucket List?

I was going to say international flight in Suites, but that is on the cards as it has been booked for next year :D And I am excited as a three year old in a candy store :D That trip would also work off a few of my other bucket list-items like New York and Washington.

But I would also love to go to South America. Peru and Machu Picchu, see the Mayan temples, the Iguazu Falls, Easter Island and perhaps Galapagos Islands as well. There is so much to do and I have barely scratched the surface.

I would also love to do F1 one day but not the cheaper tickets, the 3 day admission to all areas including the pits. (Formula One Paddock Club). It would just be grand...

There is probably more, but this is what I am working towards at the moment :)

White water rafting Grand Canyon

Did this 2 years ago as a boys trip - 10 mile hike into the canyon, a week of rafting through the canyon, hikes into side canyons and sleeping under the stars every night, then a helicopter flight out. Hands down the best trip I've ever done.

African safari.
Road trip across the US with no planned itinerary.
Dinner at Noma.

Fantastic, much appreciated!

Happy to provide additional details if required i.e. Nth'n light tour operator, etc. If you do go make sure to squeeze in Bergen and all it has to offer i.e. Fjord cruise / scenic trains

In 2017 looking at my first BIZ Class ATW trip - Japan, Korea, Europe, East Coast USA............ :)

2017 - 2018

Switzerland
Canada
Hong Kong (again)

If I ever go to NZ again, I'm sure the authorities will take a good look at me and start asking questions. Been there so many times.

Happy voyages to every-one else though. Also, avoid any airbus aeroplane when I can...

regards

I am slowly ticking the F1 races off. Only three so far, so very slowly!

Far out! Was that in November? I'm in a jam as I booked BNE-LAX with my now ex partner. The Yukon looked like an attractive option over a fare credit. But now you throw Norway into the mix! 

I am off to KEF later this year, so that ticks that one off.

Which one would you say are best value? I was going to go to SIN but too costly at the moment. Do you think KL would be a better option or do you have any other tips?

Have a look at the ticket prices at the start of the year, and see which one/s fit in with your travel plans.

I have been to SIN but booked it months out.

Anyone thinking of the Tokyo Olympics in 2020? I wasn't until very recently. Would love to visit Japan again.

My thoughts - if it is a visit and not for the purpose of seeking an Olympics experience, then don't do it during an Olympics period.

Was thinking of this when I hear Usain Bolt won the 100m again for 3rd time!!! I LOVE some of the pics of him! Outstanding man! He's probably worth following somewhere to watch race in person. There's been some cracker events and finishes to watch eg Mahe's photo finish in the rowing!!!!:):):) Go my man!

But I love watching track - well, the shorter events.

I'd love to go to Japan but expecting it will be expensive and I'm thinking everything will be 50x more expensive during the olympics so unless there is an athlete or a few I'm particularly keen on then ... I'd go Japan without the Olympics.
