I still board an AA flight with a bit of trepidation as one of the worst FAs I have come across was also on AA.
Can't be worse than "Orange Juice Hellen" can it?

Thanks for all the responses. Some good points made there.
It is good to read positive reviews, and I guess it may have helped those whose judgement may have become a little clouded that Qantas is actually OK!
I'm really looking forward to my trip to Oz in 15 weeks 4 days (but who is counting!).
Speaking chances, you have the same chance of this happening on any other airline (in layman's terms). Would you not fly MH after they had 2, yes two A330's fail to reach Perth on the same night (one aborted take off, 2nd [replacement] turned around after engine failure). We always flew Qantas. We wouldn't think of anyone else. Until shockers. Two flights were forced to land after takeoff due to mechanical problems. Flights were left on the tarmac for at least 2 hours. Some return flights were unbearably squished, and we're certain the seats were made to be unbearably close. In short, we decided that Qantas was short changing us with exy prices for gruelling flights.
