What's the quickest/easiest way to get 5k AA miles ?

The computer system has no way of knowing whose name is on a credit card as you aren't required to show them the card. If you have a credit card and you quote the number and just say the card has "Joe Smith" on it they will have no way of knowing.

All the time I laugh when websites say you must enter your name exactly as appears on your credit card - it makes no difference at all. For example I have a CBA credit card and my wife has a joint card on the same account - both our cards have identical numbers on them. Other banks issue joint card holders with a different number but CBA certainly doesn't.
