What's the rarest aircraft type that you've flown on?

My unusual aircraft pales into insignificance compared to some of yours but I did fly Impulse Airlines Beechcraft 1900 from Sydney to Canberra. This was at the time they were operating the 717s, prior to the purchase by QF. I remember the service was to go on to Cooma but was delayed so they informed the two continuing pax their service would be in a taxi…

I did the Beech 1900 regularly in Indonesia; they were a loud aircraft but could get into short strips. Strange looking bird.

I may have travelled on a Nord Mohawk, not sure as it was early 1991. Otherwise it would have been a more common EMB 110 Bandeirante.

Very true, although to me they where hardly rare, it was pretty common I ended up in an ER.

I guess the definition of rare is rather hard to pin down. Technically the B717 is rare, yet that is currently my most frequent type I fly on.

Aeroflot TU154 , Loganair Shorts 330, L1011 (BA), B707 of TAP Air Portugal but probably the rarest and most exciting for me was landing on a glazier in Alaska in a 1975 built Cessna 185 of Rusk Aviation.

Not a rare aircraft type, but probably a rare aircraft type / route combination: I flew an Air New Zealand ATR-72 from Wellington to Auckland in 2021. This route is otherwise always A320 aircraft for passenger service.

Snap - me too. When working out of Singapore many years ago, for our two weeks ashore a "mate" announced he had got some really cheap tickets to London, through a travel agent he knew. We survived, although trying to transit Moscow in the middle of the night with no screen working was a worry. Needless to say, we didn't take any advice from our friend again.
