Is anyone heading anywhere interesting over Xmas? More interestingly, is anyone holidaying in Australia anywhere or have you decided like me - it's too gawd darn expensive!

Not only its too expensive but its too damn crowded!

I'm currently in the Maldives - stuck in the Sheraton Full Moon Resort - so I guess this will be my early in liue of Christmas-NY trip.

Two weeks in Zurich for me. Stopping over in Singapore and a 3 day trip to Paris somewhere in the middle of it.

Then disappearing off to the Withsundays with someone special for Christmas.

I'm wanting to travel somewhere within 4 hours of BNE but think I've visited everything apart from noumea?

Any suggestions?

Cairns for the Christmas days. Back to BNE for 2 weeks, then to Fiji for two weeks, then china (shanghai , Beijing, xian and hong kong) before heading home in Feb. from
Sun to snow. Can't wait.

I'll be on the beach with an esky of ice cold Magners trying to avoid getting kicked off by the rangers for the heinous crime of consuming alcohol in a public place while simultaneously dodging sharks, box jelly fish, snakes and the most dangerous and irritating of all..... BOGANS

I'll be taking a few weeks off work and catching up on all the things I haven't been able to do during the year because of travel (like building a 20 metre long retaining wall) :(.
At least I'll earn around 6,000 QFF points from purchasing the materials! :D

My daughter will have a friend over from Denmark for her first ever summer Christmas, so we'll do a bit of local sightseeing as well!

We!ll be doing what we have done for the last 7 years and heading down i the most southerly point of Australia and staying there for 2 weeks. It is low flying, however I can only get emails and I can deal with them when need be.

Ahhhh bliss! Other than that, back into it with full force on the 9th of January.
