Favourite: Embraer 190
I flew in business class on the single seat side, and it was very comfortable
Least favourite: Saab 340
I was in the window seat in the 2 seat side and it felt claustrophobic, plus the toilet didn't even have a sink, just wipes
Favourite: A Tie between the 747-8I (Flew Korean air)and the 777-300ER(Flew Virgin Australia). Both superbly engineered aircraft and very comfortable. (The first photo is a 747-400- legendary of course)
I forgot one of my earliest flights that I really enjoyed. A TAA DC3 from moresby to Honiara via Lae,Rabaul and Bougainville. felt so stable on landing.Anything with propellors - jets can't match the initial surge down the runway when the props bite.
I'm old enough to have flown in Convairs - one flight (Melb to Canberra) the pilot must have thought he was Biggles when he hedgehopped over the Brindies on the way in.
But I like A380s, and I agree with the nostalgia factor re: 747s.
Favourite aircraft is not precisely defined. It can mean whatever anyone wants it to mean, including the interior fit out or the services provided on board if that is what matters most to a member.i think most are confusing the question with interior fitout and service
For me any aircraft that lands properly after takeoff.
An aircraft is not defined by the interior outfitting. The interior outfitting is determined by the airline. So an Emirates A380 will have a different vibe to a QF A380 etc etc. Most people look at the interior rather than care much about what "metal" they are flying in.Favourite aircraft is not precisely defined.
You may want to read the original post in this thread. For me, as a passenger, the interior fittings are an integral part of my experience and pretty central to my thoughts on favourites. An aircraft is not defined by the interior outfitting. For example a post upthread mentions legroom. What does an aircraft have to do with legroom?

There are 787 with 8 acrossNine abreast on a 787 is cramped
Regardless of a particular airline's interior kit the 787 wins hands down based on lower cabin altitude and higher humidity.
