What's your ride?

Peugeot 405 Mi-16. It's old (1994) and has a dodgy head gasket but i love it. Something about that black leather and cantankerous French engineering.

It also only gets driven once every two weeks cause the rest of the time its the commuter bike or train. Why spend money on a depriciating assest that doesn't get used and lives in the street?

When working in rural Vic i have hire cars and really enjoyed the Maxima Ti's that Hertz had about a year ago. Smooth V6 with a good freeway ride but don't ask it to turn a corner. Hello understeer!

And my CL65 will leave you far behind in a cloud of tire-smoke.

I have seen some recent videos of the new Ducati 1098s wiping the floor with a Lambo Gallardo in recent times...
$33,000 versus $365,000 and the Duc wins easily... factor in a few corners though and the situation may be reversed, but in a straight line these bikes are awesome !!! Top speed of 296 Km/h....The Lambo is listed at 315 km/h but takes a second or so longer to get to 100km/h.
The Monster is not bad, but until QF WP has my life insurance sorted....well no real fast times for me !!!!

I drive a Citroen C5 (the v6 sedan) which I purchased a few months back. Prior to that I drove a Citroen Xantia. Both have the hydraulic suspension system which I love. The latest model has auto-everything, even headlights that turn in the direction of travel. I've found them to be extraordinarily reliable cars to own and a lot of fun to drive.

Mine looks just like this (same colour too):

The "cheese & kisses" (a.k.a. the "trouble & strife") drives a Chrysler Voyager which provides great spacial seperation between the children when required. We're on our second Voyager and while we like the design and utility, I must say that they have both been expensive cars to repair/maintain. :-|

I usually change over the company (my company) car at least every four years, however, in 2002 I bought a Subaru Liberty and it is the safest vehicle I have driven in many many years, especially in the wet with the all wheel drive. Needless to say, I still have the same car but will change it over in January for another Liberty or something (Subaru) similar.

Maca44,

I agree wholeheartedly. I had a Subaru Liberty from 1998 to 2002 then went for a six cylinder Outback. Better again! I kept the Outback until earlier this year then bought it from the company and my latest is a Chrysler 300C. Very different again and absolutely fabulous and with a lot of the Mercedes heritage showing through.

The Subaru and the Chrysler compliment each other very well.

The Suburu AWDs are great. Haven't owned one, but did have a '94 Celica GT-Four ST205 WRC edition; one of only 2500 ever made. It was a dream to drive in all weather, and I had many a fun day in the snow around Hokkaido. To quote pretty woman, it cornered like it was on rails  . Boy, AFF is slow today  .
