agreed. 3 stars should be the rating for satisfactory service, 4 for exceeding expectations, and 5 would be the best of the best and really only possible about 1% of the time (and same for 1 and 2).
But its Uber that have stuffed this up themselves, they require drivers to maintain above 4.5, and therefore have diluted the value of a 5 star rating.
Our first uber ride was with a really nice guy who told us all about it and gave a full run down of how the rating system should work.
It turns out his previous customer was the aust wide general manager.
He informed us that the only way you should give 5 stars is:
You are offered control of radio station / music controls.
Offered control of windows and temperature setting.
Offered free bottle of water and lollies / mints.
Driver follows all road rules and drives in a good manner.
I just wish this was published so drivers can study it, I have noticed so many uber drivers think they are exempt from red lights.
