When do rows 32-33 on the upper deck A380 open up for WP?

Can anyone tell me when the upper deck, specifically rows 32/33 open for selection to WPs? I have a booking on QF11 later this year and expert flyer is showing that there is availability in rows 32 and 33, however I am not able to select these. I have called QF and they advised that the seats 'might' be held for P1s. I had thought that all intl Y seats were available for selection to WPs (obviously with exit rows requiring extra payments)?

Thanks for your help!

Only advice I can offer is that for me, as Gold, they opened up at T-80 like things otherwise generally do

My experience as a WP was they're available immediately after booking.

Same here always ben able to select immediately after booking

I've just booked flights to LAX.I had to speak to the platinum line, as I was using a voucher and also needed to book some other flights.
When I first made enquiries, agent said those seats were blocked, but when I actually did book flight the next day, another agent made all seats available to me.
Maybe worth a phone call.

Good luck

TQ

Thanks for the input all. After ringing the plat line again and speaking to someone slightly more knowledgeable I was able to select 32A & 32B for both journeys (there are two of us travelling).

On a side note, when I tried selecting these seats for both flights I got an error message saying that it couldn't be processed so chose and saved each seat selection individually (i.e. first did the flight out, saved then the flight back). That seemed to work.

Did you not know? 36D/E are normally the last seats allocated on this configuration. ;)

I was allocated 36F once at First class checkin in Melbourne.
I previously had a seat downstairs.
The agent told me that 36 D/E cannot be sold, and therefore 36 F would be a great seat.

Unfortunately, when I boarded.....there was a mum and daughter ( about 12 years old ) sitting in those two seats.

I'd say, when the flight is full, they will allocate those seats.

TQ

Those 36D/E seats are blocked off until the day of departure, and can be used on that day. The reason why they block them off, is due to 36D not being an aisle seat, it's got a wall there, making it one of the least desirable seats to be allocated.

Having ben allocated that seat once by the P1 team I have to say it is absolutely the WORST and least desirable seats on the aircraft unless you have all 3 seats to your self and don't mind the noise and smell of the loo. :D :D :D
