A week ago the company I worked for folded, so I had an involuntary job change for the first time in my life. All good though - I start work with a small company in a week

However, without a work laptop, we're down to a one computer family. MrsK has commandeered the home laptop while she is resting in bed post Covid, binging on her shows. Thankfully, a couple of years ago I was curious about the Raspberry Pi and rather than going full nerd, bought a Raspberry Pi 400. I dragged the trusty Pi out of the drawer, dusted it off, updated packages and other good Linux-ey things, and I'm up and running. A bit sluggish, but better than nothing.

Nicely done. The pi generally has enough grunt for most regular tasks.

Yep those devices have been around for ages and are cheap and effective for basic needs.
