When international starts again will you stay with your usual provider ?

If it's not indicative, why are QF offering those prices? Why not load their 'regular' fares of $8K, or discounts of $5999?
The cynic in me says there's a sucker born every minute, airlines desperate for cash are taking money from stir-crazy people for flights that have no hope of taking off, and they can get more cash from stir-crazy suckers with higher fares. I could be wrong of course.

We recommend spread wings. The pineapples made QF LTG largely off the back of flights on CX, AY, MH, FJ, AA, etc, as well as QF for domestic and flights in Asia-Pacific. Being a QFF makes us loyal to oneworld rather than QF.

cheers skip

We are very unlikely to go back to our usual travel. But that is because we had decided that our usual year of 2 long trips was only going to be 2020,21 and 22.
Covid has neutered those plans. So we are very unlikely to get BA gold and QFWP again.

Fortunately when I had a couple of months at home without going out many days I learnt we wiil be quite happy staying home with a few local holidays. It does mean some of the things on the bucket list are no longer going to happen.
i have also decided that i will not be working any later than Feb 2022.So money won't be in such good supply.

Most longhaul flights will hopefully on points though I feel awards will become a lot harder to get.Hopefully OW survives.Might have to fly J rather than F. 😞

As to hotels I have qualified Bonvoy LTP so that will remain a backstop.will also continue with IHG Ambassador program as the fee is easily recouped with the free weekend night.
But a lot of hotel stays will become the cheaper options.

I usually book accommodation through Agoda. I'm a VIP member as well. When international travel resumes, I wont be using Agoda. Received messages saying my Agoda points were expiring and off course I advised I'm in Melbourne, 5km movement limit, accommodation is closed, border closed etc but they didn't care and lost my points.
I've had a good run as all other travel providers I use have extended rewards expiry etc due to COVID with Agoda being the exception.

It’s hard to remain optimistic when your travel has been restricted to a 5 km radius from home for the last few months! I don’t have any SQ status but I have a bunch of SQ points that I’m keeping a watchful eye on as I don’t want to loose them when / if we get to travel again. I’ve also got Accor credits for hotels in Paris, Lyon and Dresden that are valid through to the end of next year. This at least is the bones of a European holiday if the virus outlook and a vaccine turns positive.
QF have maintained my WP status which I really appreciate but its hard to see any flying out of Victoria in the near term. Plan to stay with them as my LTG provides a useful backstop. Not so sure about staying loyal to Accor as their cancellation response was a poor cousin to Hilton’s actions.

With Virgin no longer flying internationally, it will definitely have to be with someone else.

Have the Platinum status match with Qatar (that will probably expire before we can travel internationally) and a bunch of VFF points I converted to Krisflyer at the start of the year when things looked dodgy. So Singapore is looking like who I will be flying with.

I used to fly EY and VA as this was my favourite combo with EY gold and Plat.

Now that EY is not flying anymore to Brisbane; VA lounges are not open and etc, I have been status matched with QR Plat.

EY Gold/Plat was very easy to retain as you earned full tier points on VA and EY.

I usually only fly in Y, so the status will be very difficult to retain for me.
But I will fly QR if prices are acceptable, otherwise via AF partners with my Flying Blue Status.
