Can anyone remind me when next anticipated double status credit promotion is likely?
Thanks

They've had recently double points, international sale, domestic sale and now the companion sale. What other sales can be they still spin up before it's time to play with the SC's as the last measure?
BTW, apologies but I had to improve their forward bookings last night while the domestic sale was on. That was Brisbane for $119 per flight, now $140 for the same, and an October GV for DSC's burned in that. Hopefully that does not trip the bean counting over to "nah, no need to further promos...".

Well on the NZ site I have the Global Sale with some very generous Economy fares, no PE, J or F fares, that will finish 25 February. It looks like forward bookings must be low, but also NZ announced that they are going to be more competitive with their fares as forward bookings also down.

I'm now looking at the Companion Sale to get Mrs QF WP and me to UK at the end of the year and need to secure award seats using AA points for the mini QF WP's. Perfect timing that I held off as I thought @RichardMEL was a sage - turned out to be correct :D :)

Sizzling Asia sale. Haven't had that one for a couple of months.

Looking at a trip to the UK in July. Hoping to take advantage of a DSC offer with Qantas and am willing to pay a reasonable premium flying QF, but if something doesn't come through soon will be booking with Qatar Airways instead.

Is the status credit earn rate with Qatar the same as flying QF (discount economy in my case)? Anything I need to watch out for?

On QF you'll get 140 SC for return flight in discount Y (280 if you happen to get them with DSC's), on QR only half of that (70 altogether). To get 140 SC on QR you'd need to buy flexible Y tickets, and for 280 you'd buy business tickets.

The rumour mill suggests that the next promo will drop tomorrow (Monday 18/2) and run till Friday 22nd.

If it does drop, or does not until later, a friendly suggestion to those planning to take advantage - either directly or via delayed bookings - to hold off registering till after 1000 AEST/1100 AEDT as some have experienced problems registering before midnight GMT. While QF may have resolved that issue, it can't hurt to wait a few hours and potentially save angst in my book.. I know it will be super tempting to jump right in as soon as it comes up.

May I ask how you know about the rumour mill. If you are right QF can have $5000 of my business this week
