When is the next 2024 Qantas Double status credits offer?

I suspect we won't see another DSC this year. Honestly they gave away too much free SCs in the last 18months so i suspect they're just going to let that lot of status holders drop down a bit first.

That wasn't too far off what I snagged SYD-YVR for a few months ago for travel in Feb next year. c$12k for 2 pax.
That’s right !

So it proves pricing is not related to cost plus plus profit plus setting aside cash for future capital acquisitions “like yknow a new plane might come in handy once in awhile” but rather whatever it takes to fill up a plane load of PAX

YVR less demand = lower price
LAX High demand = higher price

SYD-YVR for circa $5999 has been the only decent “sale” fare post Covid that I recall. We grabbed one last year and where able to book open jaw home from YUL that included a few other flights to max the SC earn.

Yeah, that's not bad - I am sure some good status credit worthy flights - worthy of our attention will present themselves.

As international capacity gradually returns more good sales should emerge. Though with inflation good sale prices may be considerably higher than pre-Covid.

If we get a second DSC in a calendar year that is an indication that there’s insufficient demand to fill planes as full as QF would like.

I’m not expecting ~$1000 return indirect J to NZ coinciding with DSC, but if that did happen I would consider fast tracking my progress towards LTG

The fly by date of the last offer ends mid Feb.
Don't see them starting another DSC offer until all the flights booked for the last one have been taken.
That's if businesses made sense

That didn’t stop QF from doing a second promo (sometimes targeted) in the one year pre-COVID some years.

I think by now the pent up demand to travel again has been satisfied and the cost of living crisis will be restraining demand more than QF would like.

You may find an opportunity may come sooner than you think....
