Barondupon forget the PJs they aren't going to come close. Am also a big guy and take my own good quality tracksuit and slip it on before the post take-off drinks.

Which flights do the PJs come on? Am flying F on QF127 SYD-HKG... No PJ's on J on that route

I find the hardest thing to gauge is when to go and climb into your P.J's when in either F or J!! LOL. Sometimes Iv'e boarded and folk are already sitting there in their "Jim Jams" looking all snuggly - depending on the time of departure it can be like an adult slumber party - especially on the 747!!

Oh yeah, I have so been there when I was flying F to JNB. Was a little surprise/shocked when I turned around and it was an adult slumber party.

Seemed like I was the last one to get changed but then and I have a funny rule about not changing into PJs until we are at cruising altitude. I have thought that I would like to be in my own clothes just in case we needed to evac the aircraft or if we returned to the gate (I know that the chances are almost zero but its just my little head).

I get changed into mine usually prior to take-off. If not then, once the seat-belt sign has been fastened. In my case the PJ's and socks would probably be better gear to evacuate the aircraft as evacuation slides and heels aren't a good idea

I normally change as soon as we're in the air. Then I can relax. However, I remember being awake once when the lights were dim, and most people were asleep. A very presentable young lady, thinking all eyes were closed, stood up at the front, and changed into her PJ. It caused a bit of an uprising. Great flight. I have no recollection of what the food was like.
