Where do pilots sleep on the plane?

Here's the forward crew rest area on a Boeing 787. There are two more of these at the rear. They are very comfy, I might add ;)

At the other end of the scale, a JQ A330 FO I know says he sleeps on the floor on sectors where he gets a rest period, because he can't sleep in the crew seats provided.

Oh you didn't post the one of the two of us in there... :(

The entry to these crew rests look like lavatory doors, so don't be mistaken if you see a pilot/cabin crew go into the bathroom for a long, long time!

It's illegal to sleep on the floor of an aircraft. Just sayin.

Which is ironic as pax are told not to sleep on the floor...

I wonder where this A330 JQ FO sleeps on the floor.. in the coughpit ???

There isn't any room on the floor anywhere that you can sleep on, unless you are a midget

The crew rest seats. I don't know whether these are curtained. With respect to the irony, he said he's aware of it. He said he is also aware that it's better to be rested for landing.

And yes, he is a very slight fellow.
